Guideline for Downloading Tax Documents

To pass the verification of SkyRemit, the tool specially made for expats working in China to send money out of China, you will need to upload tax records to get transfer limit.

If you can log in to the "Individual Income Tax"  App, you can easily download tax records and tax details (as income proof) to complete the verification process. 

This article will guide you through the steps to download your tax documents in two parts using the Tax App.

Notes: 

If you haven't registered your account in the app, please:

• Bring your passport or authorize someone else to do it. (valid identification of handling personnel and a statement of authorization signed by the taxpayer are required). 

• Go to the tax service centre, get the "Registration Code" at the general business counters, and complete the registration by filling in personal information in the app.

(The registration code is valid for 7 days. If you haven't registered successfully, you can apply for a new code. The code will be invalid when you register again.)

Step 1: Click "我要办税" (I Want to File Taxes) on the main page.

Step 2: Click on "证明开具-纳税记录开具" (Certificate Issuance-Tax Record Issuance).

Step 3: Select the time period for which you would like to obtain a tax record. You can choose the longest time period possible. Then click on "生成纳税记录" (Generate Tax Record).

Step 4: Click”保存(Save)” and your tax records will be saved as an image to your photo album.
